So apparently blogging and tagging will help with search engine optimisation, no problem, I’ll do it. Only it doesn’t seem to be quite that easy. When I’m writing I usually just go for it. Sometimes I’m not sure if the words coming out are any good, and I don’t get too caught up in the development of an idea, I just start writing and the subject evolves nicely when I don’t over think it.
Now with a blog in front of me, I’m completely the opposite. I’ve spent so much time jotting down ideas but whenever I begin a sentence I find myself deleting it. My genre is paranormal/fantasy, I’m not really used to this ‘stream of consciousness’ kind of writing but like anything you have to start at the beginning and learn as you go. So here lies the worst blog I’ll ever write. My first baby step into the world of online presence.
Perhaps research would help but reading blogs isn’t something I usually do—to be honest I don’t really know where to find one—however of the few I have read the best ones seem to be those with personality in them. I like to think I can be funny in person, when it’s in context, but I’m not so sure that I can write funny. Instead I’m going to aim for heartfelt and try to bring awareness to everyday people living their passion.
While I respect people for all their choices, I’m especially fascinated by those who find a way to break out of society’s expectations. So while my blogs may remain marginally narcissistic I will also be sharing stories of the people that inspire me, and maybe they can inspire you too.
So here’s to a future of egotistical, self absorbed, vain, healthy-free-thinking-blogging.
Cant wait to read more! Youre a fantastic writer Miss Hub x
